Affiliate Disclosure

Some links on Sanewords, mainly in Tech & Gadgets coverage, are affiliate links. This page explains exactly what that means.

What this means

If you click certain product links and make a purchase, Sanewords may earn a small commission, at no extra cost to you. Not every product link is an affiliate link, and articles that contain them carry an in-article disclosure so it’s never a surprise.

What it does not mean

Affiliate relationships never determine what we cover, how we score a product, or which product we recommend. Our How We Test page lays out the rule plainly: when a cheaper product beats a pricier one that would pay us more, the cheaper one wins, every time. If we’re not in an affiliate program for something we cover, we link to it anyway, because the recommendation comes first.

As of today, affiliate income is not yet live on Sanewords — this policy is published in advance so the rules are clear before any commission is ever earned.
